Am I Bored Silly Or Is Google Just Plain Silly?

So I’m sitting at home, all alone and just bored silly and decide to check out my stats… told you I was bored. I came across the term “dubai uae” - which I mentioned in yesterdays post. Amazingly it was already index in Googles blog search engine.

Out of 480,097 entries for Dubai UAE, I am ranked third. That’s just silly!!!

Most of the other sites are job sites for Dubai, UAE Jobs, and there are dozens of Dubai, UAE Travel Guide, and even more Dubai, UAE Career websites!!

Now mind you, I don’t expect to have a HUGE influx of visitors based on this term. I can only imagine how many people are looking for… Dubai, UAE Jobs, Dubai, UAE Travel Guide, or Dubai, UAE Careers.

Some other interesting ways people are finding me:

dot com mogul - apparently for this search term, I am in the top 10 in Google SG that is!! Bawhahahahaaaaaa!
Mohamed Bhimji - in the top spot in Google CA, and on Google COM the first page is all about me! I love it!
Mohamed cartoon - I can only guess people are searching for with that term… I’m not gonna even go there.

So I keep referring back to the infamous checklist that Stephen Fung has (you can find it here - http://www.stephenfung.net/dot-com-mogul-checklist/):

Your income must come about as a result of the money you make from the Internet - NOPE.
The minimum internet income level is $10,000 a month (you cannot add income from other sources to hit this $10K level) - FCUK, I WISH!
You have no jobs outside of the internet - FCUK, I WISH!
You have a personal blog with your name as the domain name - WOO HOO! CHECK!
Your blog must be updated at least once per week - Hmmm… well if I stick to my most recent posting schedule, then CHECK!
A Google search of your name must be at the #1 spot - OH YAH BABY! CHECK!
You must be willing to help dot com mogul wannabes - I am an ASPIRING DOT COM MOGUL, this doesn’t apply to me…YET!
